Another source of inspiration : The India

I especially love this country and its culture
(although I have no yet had the opportunity to go there)

I created the following two paintings, inspired by India and the Hinduist and Buddhist culture

Dhyana

Jhana

the name of these two paintings refers to state of concentration grown in Hinduism and Buddhism

It means meditation or contemplation

Dhyana is a sanskri term et Jhana is its translation into Pali

One of my sources of inspiration is nature

Here is one of the first painting I've done on this theme

The name of this painting also expresses my admiration for the world of night

I also made a series of painting on this theme but rather where the inspiration came from the sky and the universe in general

For the realization of these paintings I used a lot of différents coatings and collages to bring relief to my work.

I also used dark, bright and metallic colors to provide contrast and movement.

Any plaster and paint setting was done with a knife
